The WEB Project began as one of the 19 original Technology Innovation Challenge Grants awarded by the U.S. Department of Education in 1995 to establish processes to improve student learning through the use of
multimedia and telecommunications.
Engaging in action research, the WEB Project has developed many effective strategies and assessment tools that influence practices throughout Vermont and across the country.
The WEB Project has recently become a nonprofit organization devoted to continued innovative development of the ideas begun with the original federal grant. We are adapting our processes to the areas of community-based learning, pre-service education, and professional growth.
