Project began as one of the 19 original Technology Innovation
Challenge Grants awarded by the U.S. Department of Education in 1995
to establish processes to improve student learning through the use
of
multimedia and telecommunications. |

| Engaging in
action research,
the WEB Project has developed many effective strategies and assessment
tools that influence practices throughout Vermont and across the

| The WEB
Project has recently become a nonprofit organization devoted to
continued innovative development of the ideas begun with the original
federal grant. We are adapting our processes to the areas of community-based
learning, pre-service education, and professional growth. |
