Student is now using layers for additional objects, and selections are improving. File type is appropriate for use. Increased use of manipulations (color, distortion, transformation, rearrangement, etc.) Use of filters and canned effects may still be blatant or obvious.

This artist makes effective use of layers, some of them transparent.  The work has a playful, collage feeling; it draws the viewer into the space. The artist shows skill with the medium. The work, however, raises the question of whether the artist's results are intentional or produced by experimentation.
