LEVEL 2

Continued exploration of tools used in Level 1. Some manipulation of imagery is evident, some of which is clearly intentional. Some understanding of file types is evident. "Jaggies" may still be evident, but unintended.

Artist's lay-out of this logo is clear and effective. Artist manipulates each  letter to fit the shape in Photoshop.  This program, however, is not the best tool for the arrangement of text.  Software programs such as Illustrator or Freehand are more useful tools to create and arrange the type, which could then be placed in Photoshop.  Images in this piece contain the "jaggies," and some letters are blurry.  The "s" at the end of "Brock's" is in a different type face.
