Continued exploration of tools used in Level 1. Some manipulation of imagery is evident, some of which is clearly intentional. Some understanding of file types is evident. "Jaggies" may still be evident, but unintended.

The lack of filters and canned effects, as well as the use of freehand techniques, are refreshing.  The artist could improve the technique by making use of layers and or a slightly transparent brush to integrate the painting with the original black and white photo. Layers would also allow the artist to clean up areas, for instance, the one around the blue eye.
