Creating a WEB of Evidence

The original WEB Project endeavor, funded by the US Dept. of Education Technology Innovation Challenge Program, used multimedia production and telecommunication to form a WEB of Evidence of Student Performance. Collaborative development of assessment tools layed a foundation for professional discussions about student work. A conceptual framework for learning allowed outside evaluators to gather data to show that WEB of Evidence was effective in reaching its goals. Creative media production and collaborative, online discussion engaged students, teachers, and community members to build a successful model that is nationally recognized by a panel of experts as one of 7 exemplary and promising technology programs in the United States.
